Using telehealth to connect with a physiotherapist can save you time waiting for an appointment, eliminate the monetary and carbon costs associated with traveling to the clinic, and ensures that you receive high-value care which will lead to long-term results. The only thing you need is a device with a camera and an internet connection. Instead of using these tools to do a web search of your symptoms, you can contact a physiotherapist and receive best-practice advice and a comprehensive treatment plan within minutes.

Telehealth and in-person physiotherapy services will be interchangeable based on individual needs.

While telehealth is appropriate for a wide range of conditions, including the most common and those with the highest societal impact, there are some conditions that are best assessed and treated in person, such as those involving acute trauma. Service type will vary based on individual needs, and people may engage with both. For example, someone with an ankle sprain may choose to check in digitally after an initial assessment in person, while an individual with low back pain may want to engage in guided exercises in the clinic between digital appointments.
